Introducing Predict Anything
Starting today, you can type nearly any prediction into Delphi, get a forecast on the probability of it happening, and open a market with those odds.

There will be an NBA team in Vegas next season.
The winner of Best Actress at the Oscars will be wearing a red dress.
Polymarket will launch a token before March 2027.
Jinx will be nerfed in October.
My flight will be delayed more than an hour.
With Predict Anything on Delphi, you can write a prediction the way you’d say it out loud, when you’re arguing with friends or discussing a topic. Delphi turns it into a settleable question, prices it with a forecaster model, and gives a written rationale for the odds and the criteria it will use to settle.

There’s no account or wallet required to make a prediction, and no digging through the site for a market that already exists. Just type your prediction and see the odds.
Why we built Predict Anything
Prediction markets are an incredibly powerful source of information on the likelihood of events, but the scope of questions they can answer is too narrow. The biggest platforms list hundreds, or even thousands of questions at a time, but that only accounts for a small amount of the things people argue about, wonder about, and challenge each other on.
There’s a good reason for that gap. Prediction markets only show a meaningful probability after trades have been made on them. And on a central limit order book (CLOB), the model that platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket use, every trade needs someone willing to take the other side. Because of this, platforms are careful about which markets they list, and stick to the questions lots of people care about.
Delphi already lets anyone create their own market, but until someone trades on it, that market sits at 50-50 and tells you nothing about the probability. This means that long-tail, specific markets that matter a lot to a smaller group of people stay unpriced: the patch notes for your favorite game, your city’s stadium vote, the thing your group chat is arguing about today.
Predict Anything is our answer to that. Instead of waiting for a market to exist, you make your prediction and Delphi prices it on the spot.
How it works
Type a prediction into the Delphi text box in the form of a statement, the way you’d say it. In less than a minute, Delphi’s forecaster comes back with five things:
- A settleable question: Your prediction, rewritten as a forecastable query that can be priced.
- The odds. The forecaster’s probability that it happens.
- Tradeability. Whether the prediction is Forecast only, or Tradeable as an information market.
- Its reasoning. A written rationale for the odds, including what sources it pulled from.
- Settlement terms. How the market will be settled automatically, and when.

Almost every prediction gets odds. The few that don’t include spam, abuse, or harm toward an individual. See the full list in our docs.
Forecasts are meant to be shared. Every forecast link includes a preview image of the odds captured at the time of sharing, so you can drop it into the group chat, an X reply or a comment thread to prove your point.
Think the odds are wrong?
A chatbot can also give you odds, but nothing happens when it’s wrong. On Delphi, the forecast is a starting point, not the last word. Anyone who thinks the odds are off can trade against it, and every market settles against what actually happens.
Every prediction with a clearly settleable outcome is marked as Tradeable, so you can take a position from the forecast page. This opens the market up to the public, where anyone can participate.
Think Delphi is too bearish? Back it with YES. Too bullish? Challenge it with NO. If you’re right, you get paid for what you knew – $1 per share.
Because Delphi information markets run on an automated market maker (LMSR) instead of an order book, you can get in or out at any time, even if nobody else trades. The protocol pools liquidity for these markets, so the market can open immediately. And the market opens at the forecaster’s odds instead of 50-50, so the odds mean something even before the first trade.
Forecast-only predictions can still become markets through the regular Delphi market creation flow, where you write the settlement criteria and seed initial liquidity yourself.
Each trade into the market makes the probability sharper. And every settled market makes the forecast sharper, improving odds for future predictions.

Predict Anything is now live at delphi.fyi. Type the take you’ve been backing, see what the forecaster thinks, and send the link to whoever needs to see them. If the odds look wrong, you can earn by challenging them.
